Cute Fun Dates That Don’t Involve Netflix and Alfredo

Nowadays people will Netflix and alfredo you to death. It’s time to bring some originality and effort back into dating. If you’re stumped don’t worry, I got y'all. Here are a few ideas.

     10.  Comedy Bar

Laughter is an important ingredient to love. Laugh together at a cute comedy bar in the city. You’re a few clicks away on google to the best one around you. The worst case scenario is the comedy sucks but at least the two of you can laugh about it. This will also make a cute first date. Comedy is a great Icebreaker.

9.  Dinner Under the stars

Find a cute rooftop or set up something cozy in your backyard. Gazing at the stars while sipping wine and eating pizza screams romance and comfort.

8. Thrift Together

Put him in charge of finding you an outfit and you find an outfit for him. The outfit you two pick out for each other is the outfit you both have to wear on your next date.

7. "Cake" and Bake

You can make cupcakes together but If you’re really down to clown in the kitchen, decorate a cake with funny text together! “Congratulations on Being Fine”.

6. Build a Fort

Teamwork makes the dream work. Make a cute fort together. It’s fun and cozy. When you’re done you can play Uno or any game of your choice inside.

5. Be a Tourist

Find cool tours around your city or surrounding cities. You’ll be surprised how many tours or cool sites there are by you.

4. Go to a Jazz Club

Whether you’re into Jazz or not, the scene is romantic. It also gives you a cool reason to dress up. Put on your red dress and make googly eyes at him in his black suit. A nice change of scenery always spices things up.

3. Have a Photoshoot

Put together looks for each other and take turns taking pictures of each other. It’s fun, you can express your creativity, and you’ll create lasting memories.

2. Find a Cool Festival

You’ll be surprised how many cool festivals happen all year round. Look up some and attend one. There are festivals where you literally just dance in the middle of the park while listening to several DJ sets. There are jewelry festivals, hot dog festivals, out-door short film festivals, dare-devil festivals where you can watch professionals do stunts live, sangria festivals, and when it’s chilly out, there are hot cocoa festivals. There’s plenty of things going on near you.

1. Color and Chill

Buy an adult color book, make some cool drinks, and bond together. There’re places all over the internet you can purchase adult coloring books from. There’re also cool drinks that you all can make together that you may not get at a bar. Make a pink starburst martini or make your own sangria. After the drinks are made, make a pallet on the floor, color, and talk. If you’re really fun, make a game out of it. Whoever colors outside the lines the most has to do a dare.

Dating can get dry and costly but it doesn’t have to be. There are always romantic things to do that show creativity, effort and won’t have you trying to donate blood for money on Monday. I hope you all try at least one of the 10 things I suggested. Let me know how it goes in the comments.
